When Esther, a beautiful, brilliant, and successful young American woman with a degree in engineering physics, meets a handsome, mysterious Iranian man while on a vacation, her world is shattered when he advises her that she is not who she believes she is. The couple who raised her are not really her parents, and she has another family she has never met back in the Middle East.
She subsequently loses her job in the defense industry and is deported, sent back to Iran, where she must begin a new life in a world she doesn’t know or understand. As Esther’s anger toward the country that rejected her grows, intensified by a string of heartbreaking events, she becomes involved with a terrorist group planning a major attack on the United States. |
